Lawanda Parnell

Lawanda Parnell is responsible for the cooperative’s information technology infrastructure, including application development and support, hardware, network, telecommunications, technical support, records management and cybersecurity.

Before coming on at PEC, Parnell was a senior director and then interim CIO at CPS Energy in San Antonio. She also worked as an IT consultant and in several management and executive positions at IBM.

Parnell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville and earned a Master of Science in management of technology from the National Technological University in Fort Collins, Colo. She resides in Horseshoe Bay and in her free time enjoys fishing, parasailing, reading, scrapbooking and traveling.
